History

The SOLEDADE began mating with Senepol in 2001 in Para, inseminating sows F1: 1 / 2 Brahman (Zebu) + 1 / 2 Continental (Simmental and Blonde). The result was so surprising that created the crossover absorbent AMAZON PROJECT (currently TAMA), where taking advantage of this genetic basis and always using semen from proven bulls Senepol produce today a Senepol PC (Pure by crosses) and PO (Pure Source) of high genetic quality.

The result achieved in this project and confirmation of the potential of the breed led to Senepol SOLEDADE creating DESIGN SAVANNAH (Minas Gerais). In 2004 was made a major investment, acquiring a donor group POI (Pure Source Imported), the ARENAS 18, 44, 209, 217 (considered the best global genetic base), later acquired from the ASAPS Ganadera 63 and Tropicana this was the “first step”. On that basis we started the process of multiplication (ET and IVF), the success of the products were immediately aroused the interest in Central this gene and today we are proud of our players participate in the multiplication of herds around the world.

It was necessary to give the “second great step” and gave up SOLEDADE donor POI (single gene pool) democratizing the new investors, farmers who multiply this gene.Today we are one big “family”, sharing quality products only.

Selection

From a rigorous selection process began on the basis of herd SOLEDADE. Donors were chosen on the breed (Island of St. Croix) where the imported embryos were mated, seeking the best performance in the race.

The result was fantastic, our donors are among the world’s best in phenotype and genotype.

Mating

With this amazing genetic basis of the donor is easier to focus our mating. We use some very interesting tools like GeneSTAR where they leverage values.

Example: a 4-star array is mated with a four-star player, keeping the same quality in the products of Tenderness and Marbling of the meat.

We evaluate and rank our products with strict criteria, seeking an ideal animal in which weight, ruggedness, muscles, hair, belly button, poise, digestive and respiratory capacity and scrotal circumference, hull and docility, are determining factors in our ranking, divided into three categories : Top, Superior and Standard.Only animals with higher ranking and Top are sold.
